Council is First in Area

The Southern Region's 1st Award goes to the council in each area that makes providing a quality traditional Scouting program to an ever-increasing number of youth their 1st priority. The Concho Valley Council had a +5.6% growth in registered traditional youth members at the end of 2007. This exceeded the growth of 9 other councils across Louisiana and Texas from Lafayette to Midland. Council President Hendler wishes to thank all the volunteers in the units, districts and council that made this happen. No doubt working together to serve the youth of our council makes anything achievable.
